This Privacy Policy explains how Sonia Scorsone, operating as Scorsone Group ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you contact us, submit a form on our website, or participate in our SMS (text message) program. Sonia Scorsone is a licensed Kentucky real estate agent (License #211558) affiliated with United Real Estate Bluegrass.

Home-search preferences (price range, bedrooms, bathrooms, locations, property type)
Transaction-related information required to represent you in buying or selling real estate
Communications you send us (email, text, phone calls, form submissions)

How We Use Your Information

To respond to your inquiries and represent you in a real estate transaction
To send you property listings that match criteria you have shared with us
To deliver SMS notifications you have consented to receive
To comply with legal, regulatory, and MLS obligations

SMS Messaging Program

Consent is required. You will only receive text messages from us if you have explicitly agreed to receive them, either verbally when we spoke or by submitting a form that includes SMS opt-in language.

When you opt in to our SMS program, the following apply:

Message frequency varies based on new listings that match your saved criteria. Typical volume is 0–5 messages per week.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive a final confirmation and no further messages.
Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at sonia@scorsonegroup.com.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number or SMS opt-in status to third parties for marketing purposes. Your consent to receive SMS messages from us is not shared with affiliates or partners.

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate our business, including Twilio (for SMS delivery), Airtable (for client records), Google Workspace (for email and files), and our MLS (Bluegrass REALTORS / ImagineMLS). These providers process information only as needed to deliver their service and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

Data Retention

We retain contact and transaction information for as long as needed to serve you and to comply with legal, tax, and MLS recordkeeping requirements. You may request deletion of your information at any time, subject to those legal obligations.

Your Rights

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or ask us to delete your information by emailing sonia@scorsonegroup.com. Opting out of SMS does not affect your right to continue receiving other services you have requested (email, phone calls) — let us know separately if you wish to end those as well.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted here with an updated effective date.
